Maja Vogl
1956 Born in Kempten. 1975-1977 Apprenticeship as hand weaver with Sigrid Reeckmann, Bayreuth. 1977 Own workshop. 1978-1985 Studied painting at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich, under Prof. Rudi Tröger. 2001-2003 Artistic director of the Nürnberger Gobelin-Manufaktur, Nuremberg. Lives and works in Bernhardswald near Regensburg.
