Sebastian Scheid
1962 Born in Hanau. 1980-1982 Worked for several months in the ceramics workshops Diana Rose, GB and Dartington Potters Training Workshop, GB. 1983 Six-month ceramics internship with Ruth Duckworth, Chicago, US. 1984 Beginning of a two-and-a-half-year apprenticeship with Tatsuzo Shimaoka in Mashiko, JP. Since 1987 working in Düdelsheim/Upper Hesse. Between 1988-1996 Study visits of several months in ceramic workshops in Japan, among others with Darice Veri, Masajuki Miyajima, Chikako and Masamichi Yoshikawa.
