1964 Born in Passau. 1983-1986 Silversmith apprenticeship at the Staatliche Berufsfachschule für Glas und Schmuck, Neugablonz/Kaufbeuren. 1987-1989 Studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich, class for jewellery and objects under Prof. Hermann Jünger. 1989-1991 Studied at the State University of New York, New Paltz, US, under Prof. Jamie Bennett and Prof. Fred Woell, metalwork, MA. 1991-1994 Studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich, class for jewellery and objects under Prof. Otto Künzli, diploma. 1994-1996 Workshop in Brooklyn, New York, US. 1996 Workshop in Munich. 1996-1999 Assistant to Prof. Otto Künzli at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich, since 1998 “Fürimmerringe”, collaboration with Michael Jank. 1999/2000 Visiting professor at the State University of Oregon, Eugene, US. Since 2008 workshop in Breitenbach, Lower Bavaria.
